Dr Henry Hoy is a member of BDA, BDBS, BSCD, BES and has a special interest in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Elizabeth Hoy is an endodontic specialist, and has limited her practice to providing specialist endodontic treatments.

Fully qualified and experienced hygienists are available and are trained in all aspects of periodontal care including scaling and polishing teeth, fissure sealing, periodontal monitoring and giving advice on promoting oral health.

All dental treatment is carried out privately at this practice.  This ensures that the very highest quality of treatment is provided for all patients.  Treatment estimates are calculated  according to our published scale of fees and treatment commences once consent has been given.  Estimates and receipts are provided for all patients.

All restorative and endondontic procedures, minor oral surgery and periodontal surgery are provided for you at II0 dental.

Facilities for disabled patients

Our practice is on the ground floor and with a little care is accessible to wheelchairs.  Although the toilet area will not accommodate a wheelchair, help will be given if required.

Protection

Our rigorous cross infection control policy ensures that our patients and staff are protected against blood borne infections such as Aids and Hepatitis.  We follow the recommended General Dental Council, Care Quality Commission and British Dental Association protocols regarding sterilisation of instruments and use of disposable items.

Appointments and emergencies

You can make an appointment by telephone or you can call in to make arrangements.  If you need to be seen urgently, telephone the surgery as early as possible for advice and we will do our best to see you that day.  For evening, weekend and public holiday emergencies our patients can telephone the practice and the emergency number which will be announced on our answerphone.

If you need to cancel an appointment whenever possible we require 24 hours notice.  This enables us to make alternative arrangements-perhaps to see someone in pain.

Once your initial treatment is completed we encourage you to come back to the practice at regular intervals to see that everything is going well.

Your next visit can be arranged before you leave the surgery.

Keep us informed

Your views are important to us and assist us in providing you with the quality service you deserve.  We invite you to use our suggestion box in the reception area.  To further aid us in monitoring and improving our service you may on occasion be asked to complete a patient survey questionnaire.

From time to time we will ask you to fill in and update a Medical History Questionnaire to assist in our diagnosis and treatment.  This is confidential.

If you change your address or telephone please let us know as soon as possible.  This helps to keep our system up to date and our recall system more efficient.

Our surgeries are equipped to the highest standards and are designed to create a relaxing and comfortable environment in which to treat you.  Your comments and questions on any aspect of our practice are always welcomed and we will be pleased to discuss your individual needs.

Our complaints procedure policy ensures that you are always provided with the highest level of care.  A separate leaflet is available along with other leaflets if you require further information on any aspect of your dental care.
